Highlights factors promoting or hindering the uptake of the practice in two neonatal intensive care units in both the Canterbury and Southland DHBs. Undertakes a qualitative, semi-structured interview-based study with 14 RNs highlighting the use of KC in everyday clinical practice. |

Abstract |
Develops a daily measure of job satisfaction in the operating room (OR) setting in the form of a tool called the Morale-o-Meter. Trials and evaluates the tool between 2018-2019, inviting all OR staff to participate using the tool to measure their job satisfaction once each shift. Follows up the trial with an online feedback survey. Proves that overall job satisfaction is positively related to daily job satisfaction and affective commitment, and negatively related to emotional exhaustion. Suggests the Morale-o-Meter has the potential to increase the voice of OR nurses. |

Aims to understand the experiences of Indian internationally-qualified nurses (IQN) making the transition into a NZ bachelor of nursing (BN) programme. Conducts a focus group with four Indian IQN students enrolled in an 18-month bridging course. Identifies four themes: adaptation to a new way of learning; cultural differences in living and working in NZ; adaptation to a different clinical environment; and cultural safety. |
