Employs a qualitative, collaborative, educative study to conduct focus groups for gathering data in pre-and post-intervention phases with PHNs who used either a genogram or eco-map in practice over a three-month period during the intervention phase. |

Identifies factors affecting pressure injury prevention in aged residential care. Interviews 10 staff from two aged care facilities, along with relevant policy and practice documents. Analyses data using triangulation and pattern matching to pinpoint three themes: staffing; leadership, teamwork, and communication; and assessment and early intervention. Finds a correlation between difficult work conditions with high-dependency patients and complex care needs, and prevalence of pressure injuries. |

Assesses the impact of environmental changes on patient reportable events (falls and aggression) in older persons' wards, using the Kings Fund Healing the Healthy Environment tool to make small changes to a ward environment in order to create a more 'dementia-friendly' setting. Conducts a comparative analysis of incidents in the wards. Obtains staff perspectives on the changes, which included large-face clocks, identifiction of bed spaces, lavender oil diffusion, and viewing gardens. |
